Good evening!
Jettie, although not the miracle one would hope for, I think that sounds like some positive news on your nephew.  I hope he continues to improve steadily!  Prayers sent up.
Logan, sounds like we had matching work days.  I was half hour late for lunch and we had to keep it short.  There was one really uncomfortable meeting this morning.  Let us just say, one person lost their cool.  Some personalities didn't mix very well.    I rarely experience that in meetings.  Another person tried to offer assistance and got told off by another person who also lost his cool... so he left shortly after.  It was ugly!  Meetings like that always require follow up meetings... that was this afternoon.  Limited attendance...just my luck!  My boss came over and asked what I as doing at 2.  I said supposed to be in another meeting.  He said let the guy know you are going to be late.  So it was quite the day....glad it is over.    Trose, before you ask, I was not either of the offending people as far as interpersonal skills go.  LOL.
GJ, did you get your rain finally.  We had such lovely Spring weather for most of the day and then thunderstorms rolled in.  I am cautious about thunder and lightening.  Love the laptop as I can unplug it and run on the battery for awhile.  Rain doesn't scare me.  Wind does and these were coming with 60 mph wind gusts.    The trees were whipping around like crazy.... So far I am fine.  Mom, called on her cell phone...no power, very large tree down on her road and another on the main road.  She couldn't talk long....just wanted to let me know she was fine and what was going on so I wouldn't worry if I tried to call and didn't get through.  Okay, we hung up, I thought about it and called the house.  She answered.  Hi, Mom!  Why are you calling me back?  Why were you calling me on your cell phone?  Because my phone wasn't working but seems to be working now since you are calling on it.  Mom, the portable won't work without power, the wired phone on the wall will work as long as phone lines are up as powered through phone lines.  Oh!  Well thanks for calling to let me know.

Grinning, that is what daughters are for.    Mom is a love but sometimes this high tech stuff confuses her.

Nira, these thunderstorms are rolling our way from Upper NY state.  Everything okay with you?

Hope everyone has a good evening!
