Good Saturday morning! Slightly overcast here in upstate New York, but the temp is already at 42 with the high to be about 58 degrees. I can live with that! Looked out the windows and saw that there is still just a little bit of snow. With my mini Irises blooming now I'm beginning to think that Spring just might be here!

This morning my back has felt the best it has in a few days. I'm hoping that whatever I did to it is healing.

I'm currently reading a book on the history of Chautauqua County, NY. It was written in 1958, but as reference it uses much older "history" books too so it's a good read for me in that I'm getting a good picture of what it might have been like to live in Chautauqua County when my Great GreatGrandfather lived there. So last night I was reading about the Allegheny River and how it was used to transportation. This morning I looked up Allegheny River on Wikipedia. I cross that river several times on my trips to/from Ohio. Interesting stuff (at least to me!).

We are definitely going to the Farmers Market today. Cian is in agreement, but I told him I want to stop at the library for at least an hour to read some more of my microfilmed newspapers. Hopefully he won't protest too much. Heck, it's not like there isn't anything to do at a library!

Patti, sounds like you had a good day yesterday!

Dan, so impressive! Makes me want to do more, but just not going to succumb to the temptation this year. Need to heal everything and besides my scrapbooking and genealogy are keeping me very busy right now.

Pam, good to hear that you've been able to keep up with the exercising. Hope your ankle feels better soon.

Jan, your cake sounds delicious but I have to stay away from lemon so would have to pass on this one. :-(

Hi to everyone! Hope you all have a great day!!!
