Good evening.  It has been a whirlwind of work and sickness here since Thursday.  I had a really nice start to my day off on Thursday, getting the wood completely off my veggie patch.  We ate lunch, he went back to work and I headed out to grab just a few groceries.  I got home, made a great meatloaf dinner, and then we enjoyed tv for the night, except for American Idol... total shock about Pia!

Anyway, sometime in the night I started experiencing really bad cramps, and general malaise with cold sweats.  I slept as best as I could, got up and dragged my butt off to the hair dressers, went right back home and slept for 3 hours, dragged myself to work, and promptly called the scheduler and told her to replace me ASAP.  I was so sick I could barely stand at my station, and I was getting worse, not better!  A replacement was found, and I came home by 5pm.  I crawled into my chair here, heating pad at my back, three layers of blankets, and basically slept the evening, and the night, except when I was running down the hall to the restroom.  No details needed!

Finally when I had to get up on Saturday to make it to work on time, I felt better, and the cold sweats and shaking had totally subsided.  Just the achy muscles and occasional cramp in the legs were the only evidence.  I worked my 10 hours, feeling okay, and worked my 9 hours today with very little problems.  Just a tad tired, so I sat on my chair alot more than usual.  The ONLY thing I can think of is that I had made ham salad for sandwiches which only I ate on Thursday.  Either the ham (canned) was expired or the eggs were old, or something.  Anyway, I may never eat ham salad again!  I was actually new to eating it as I really do NOT like mayonnaise.

So while I am glad to have survived, I've lost any spare time I might have had in the evenings to just resting and recovering.  I still need to rake out the leaves from my flower beds, or have David get the leaf blower out.  My daffydils are blooming, crocus, and snow iris also are blooming.  Tulips are popping out everywhere!  The lawn is turning green, and we are expecting thunderstorms overnight.  Temps soared up over 80*F today, so storms will be on the agenda tonight!

That is the news from here, I enjoyed catching up on everyone's posts... will respond to individuals later!  Enjoy the evening!
