Jan, we had wind and rain pretty bad last night, but nothing like when we lose trees and such.  The one thing we did lose?  The power surge protector on the tv stand.  Power flickers off and on several times, and the last time it flickered there was a loud "POP" behind the tv and a puff of smoke.  Thank heavens the protector gave its own life.... I don't care to lose my plasma tv or blue ray player!

Today I got to work early, didn't even occur to me that maybe Sterling had problems, since it is 10 miles further south, but something took my computer server out.  Even when they got it back working, individual terminals were still down.  We had no computers and could do NOTHING until 12:30 pm!  Then of course, we get back to normal, and do 8 hours of work in 4 hours.  WOW!  My crew has to be the best in town!  I plan on treating them to lunch on Thursday.  The same crew will be on duty that day, and I open that day, so I can have lunch brought in.  They don't know that part yet.  shhhhhhhhhh

Aside from that, I should be outside in my flower beds, but honestly, I am exhausted, just coming off the whole food poisoning issue.  My tummy is normal, but my energy level is sapped.  I close tomorrow, so I've got the morning to myself.  I think I'll run to the grocery store, then get out in the gardens.  I think a little garden and dirt therapy will be the best prescription I can come up with.

Okay, I am almost napping, so I'll catch y'all later!
