Good morning, Nira, and those who will be checking in later!
Boy is it a good thing it is Friday or what?  What a week this has been!
I wish my little girl was coming home this weekend, but she is staying at school.  I think it has something to do with a particular young man and not so much the books.  Ha Ha!
Andrew will be with us this weekend.  He starts a new job today and will be working at a family style restaurant about 15 minutes from here.  Scott will be picking him up from work at 9 pm.  And tomorrow they are taking our little truck and getting a new exhaust system put on it, then Andrew will drive it until his stepfather can find a new "used" car for him.  We've agreed on the cost and will be splitting it with them.  Mike is great at finding decent used cars so we trust him to find the right one and we're glad he's willing to do it so we don't have to.  Andrew likes the truck, but the muffler is shot and it is so loud that I'm embarassed for anyone to drive it.  Scott calls it "Little Elvis" and it is a 1990 Ford Ranger with low mileage.  We would give it to him, but we use it for hauling stuff and don't want to lose it.  Helen has our only SUV so it is our only way to carry gardening supplies and other large items.
I'm going with my niece, Emily, to have a pedicure tomorrow (her invitation) and to spend some time with her.  It has been too long since we did that.
Scott and I also have lots of yard work that needs to be done, but we are supposed to get heavy rain and storms tonight and tomorrow morning so we'll have to see how things go after that.
Hope you all have a good Friday and weekend!
