Sounds like yesterday was a good day!  I know I enjoyed having supper at Monteros and Andy outdid himself with setting a festive atmosphere for all us older fogies!  I always enjoy having his Cajun Chicken and Shrimp pasta and was not disappointed with the menu.  YUM!

Got a late start to the morning and had to hustle to get to my women's group this morning.  Interesting session on Absalom Jones and Sojourner Truth.  Did you know she didn't learn English until later in life and was a Dutch speaker that was born and raised in New York?

Spent most of the afternoon helping Ron with his Kindle and trying to adjust settings so it was more user friendly for him, but he is still having some probs with his fine motor skills and has no patience, but he'll get it eventually.  I had to get out of the house after a while as it was so nice and put in a good two miles walking around the neighborhood.  The weather was perfect!  Can't complain about it at all!  I was really surprised at how many robins there are.  The woods seem to be full of them and they were singing like crazy.  I also noticed that the cherry tree is just breaking out in blossoms in the top canopy.  I'm hopeful that the tree will bloom before getting hit with frost and just turning brown.  Maybe this year we'll have a bumper crop of pretty pink blooms!
