Good evening!

Nira, I hope that place stays open long enough tomorrow for you to finish up your last two microfilms. I was curious about all this discussion about insects and soil disease with such a mild winter. I couldn't find anything on the internet on the topic that was conclusive. Most articles on it pointed to the resulting drought from snowless winter as a plant stressor. And leaving last years plant debris in place, being a haven for insect and mold spores. Does anyone have a good reference? On the other hand, it will be what it will be. Dan, care to weigh in on this?

Nira, Glad you enjoyed your lunch company, if not the food.

Miss Jeans, sounds like you had an excellent dinner with fun company. Cherry blossoms? Wow! I envy you the walk around the neighborhood! I hope Ron gets the hang of the Kindle.

Pam, your husband sounds very sweet! You do too! pies and cookies baked for each other. smiley: wink

I did not completely enjoy my exercises last evening. I attempted the advanced island cycling..and missed a flag some place... so had to do the course again...(stepping on the balance board to pedal.) I finally admitted defeat! LOL. I gave it another go tonight...now I missed two flags... I wish I could have a full sized map of the island! Laughing.  I know it is good for me, but not fun not accomplishing the goal.  Hmn.... I wonder if there is a full size map of the island on the internet somewhere.....laughing!  I think I will go look.

I am delighted at the weather forecast for the weeked as I am going back "home" for a baby shower for my niece, weather permitting.  Looks like the weather will be fine.

Hope everyone has a good evening and Happy Hump Day!
