Good evening!  I have been in hiding for the past couple of days.  Not on purpose, just circumstances.  I had a training session that ran late like after 6 pm and then had to drive home last night, and today I had an appointment with the rheumatologist.  As I feared, like Ms. Jeans, another part of me has had the warranty expire.  ( I loved that phrase ) My right shoulder has an old injury from book bags.  And sure enough, arthritis has moved in.  The options were 1) prednisone burst or 2) cortisone injection!  Well, knowing that I've recently lost weight and cannot stand the thought of taking prednisone and increasing my appetite was the driving force behind the choice.  I've been relatively pain-free since the injection.  It is the lidocaine, not so much the steroid working yet, but who cares?  Pain-free!!!

Anyway, David and I bounced around different stores in Rockford like Gander Mountain, Sams, and we ate lunch at Golden Corral.  We actually found NOTHING at Sams!  Who knew we could walk in, walk all around and walk out with empty hands???!!  Then we came home and have been working on both the trailer, finishing up the packing and pre-trip work.  The fresh water tank is now sterilized, the frig and freezer are full, and the vacuum has been run.  I think we need to put the 12 volt batteries back in their holders, and hook up and run the trailer around the block.

Tomorrow is the hair appointment, and then work the closing shift.  I open and work all day Saturday, then the vacation starts!

Good to see everyone is keeping busy!  I will try for a tulip photo or two before they fade.
