If today was Friday, then what happened to Thursday?  Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?  Dare I mention Wednesday slipped by without much of a whimper, too?

I've fired on half a cylinder most of today, if someone can find the other missing 5 and 1/2 pistons, please let me know.  Goodness gracious after such a slow start, the rest of today has pretty much zipped by.  Can you believe I was up doing laundry at 1:30 this morning?  I guess sometimes geriatric cats have rough days, too.  Poor old Esme is, I think, well into kitty alzheimers, for various reasons, which due to delicacy issues shall remain unmentioned as to her unmentionables.  I hope there is not a repeat performance.  Geesh!

The  rest of today, well this afternoon, was spent out of doors, which involved much revamping of garden paths and way too much stooping and kneeling and bending over and I am pooped.  It is supposed to rain at some point, so in keeping with the forecast, I kept a wary eye on the clouds and decided about 10 minutes ago that they are darkened and thickened enough to put all the tools away to avoid getting caught in a shower.  I was in all realilty, probably a bit more cautious than I should have been, but....... it is soooooooooooo nice to be sitting down!

George, sometimes when your stomach is gnawing on your backbone, it is a little easier to not dole out the freebies.  It's tough to get toughened up for some youngsters.  Nira, I am sure the experience that Jamie has gotten will serve her in good stead in time.  I have a niece that is still struggling to find a job in her field and is now a teller in a bank.  She is discouraged, but is still hopeful!  Nira, I hope you get your kidleys straightened out soon! You've got to be miserable!

Trees are just now starting to bud out, so you must be a few more weeks ahead of us.  We had a first taste of yellow pollen coating the cars this week and you should have heard Ron fussing!  He has been absolutely miserable with his allergies and I've not been that far behind him in the snuffling and snarking.  We sound like a couple of grumpy dinosaurs!  Ha!  Let us know how you like the Uverse, Logan.  We gave up cable, I guess four years ago, when I got mad at the company -TW-, after a less than pleasant service call and I yanked the box off the TV, along with the internet connection, went down to their office and said I would NOT be treated that way, explained treatment from the rude tech, got my business done and left.  We've had service with the phone since then and are looking at the satellite bundle now.  Decisions, decisions.

Pigeons.  George, have you thought of squab in buttermilk sauce?  Lightly seasoned with a good curry?
