This is an adventure but I am having fun.  I got up early and got all the plants in the car and the tomato cages and tomato ladders.  The landscape fabric was already in the car and the stakes.  My bag filled with twine, bug spray, trowel, garden chalk,  etc.  The seeds were in my purse.  I got there early enough to park in the shade and cracked my windows.  Planting this evening was going to depend on the weather.  Were we going to have pop up thunderstorms or not?  I was not interested in being in that video production.  You can see the garden plot from the cafeteria.  People were pouring out to the garden.  Teams were trooping off to their garden plot with flats of plants and gardening tools.  One team even splurged on printed matching t-shirts....I thought that was a bit over the top!  I would prefer to spend money on plants.  Perhaps I would have gone but I was in the middle of the follow up product open house and someone kindly covered for me so I could grab a quick lunch.  It turns out the garden plot soil was so hard people were having a hard time working it.  One guy decided he was getting the best of it and his hoe handle snapped in the middle.  Oh bother!   I am guessing they tilled when it was wet or didn't really till at all.  One guy on my team said it appeared we would need to turn the soil ourselves and rake it out.  He wasn't giving up.  As it turned out the company organizer realized it was a disaster of start on this.... so sent email out late afternoon saying if you hadn't planted yet, the plots would be tilled again so hold off.  I had to go into another meeting so the one guy tracked that down .... tilled tomorrow morning.  We still have a shot at this....... time will tell!  So the plants came home again, out of the car, and got watered again, and will go back in tomorrow.....

I will see if someone can take a pic.....
