To forget this dismal scenario, I usually turn to non gardening reading/or TV dont we all ?Uggh

But then once in a while they do put up some thing decent on the box. So I been watching my favorite John Adam's biopic drama on Channel 4 TV here. It is very illuminating and I have read John Updike book on John Adam umpteen times, especically the portrait painted of Abigail handling the farm and sick kids trying keeping body n souls together and at the same time telling John not to be vain glorious. So far the dramtisation has moved to John Adam nominating George Washinghton to command Continental armies.WOW
