Hi Patti,

Always. There are a number of gardeners who don't have access to the internet who happen to live near my garden. They all are organic gardeners and we share amongst ourselves and anyone else that is interested. Each year I grow extra for some of the local seniors that can't grow a garden anymore. Almost like my own food bank. It is so heart-warming to see the smiles and the thanks that are so freely given. Often I am offered money for my produce but I refuse and just give it to them. If it works better I will trade for their services to eliminate the money transaction and to let them know this is not meant as charity. I have done this for many years and at first my wife thought I was a fool for doing this but I see it as community building. She nows shares the same as I do and has become a terrific gardener as well. [Her thumb went from black to green after getting to know me and I couldn't ask for a better friend].

My gawd, do I ever rattle on about stuff that you didn't ask about!!

I will also share seeds with anyone at the shed that is interested.

Dennis
