Welcome home Nira!  I hope you feel better soon.  I think September is the worst month for colds.  When is your nephew's wedding?  Perhaps Cian will change his mind by then.  Sounds like the apple festival was a bust also.  But you did go visit your brother, which was good of you, and now you are home, sweet home!  It sounds like you had a nice time around the fire pit and got some work done on your genealogy research.  My sister is very interested in picking up where our Dad left off.  She was thinking of getting a subscription to Ancestory.com.  Do you have any advice for her?  I seem to recall you prefer other sources.

I have been enjoying speedy internet access, yes that means my list of stuff to do around the house isn't going anywhere, but it will be fine, all get done eventually.  I have rearranged the garden plot plans for next year.  In the two previous years, I have laid out plans that had each plot looking well rounded for one team.  These plans use all 3 plots and keep types of veggies all together.  And I leaned towards what each team lead likes best.  Also took into consideration the limited choices of the food bank.  So one is peppers, some cucumbers, and beans.  Another is more cucumbers, summer and winter squash.  Mine is snow peas and tomatoes.  It goes without saying that basil will be planted with the tomatoes.  I like the mix. I will probably change my mind after input from my team or just because I am me, a dozen times until next Spring.  smiley: wink

Dennis, how is that watermelon coming along?  Dan????  it would be nice to hear from you friend of ours!  Hugs to Jan and Ron!
