Good evening,
It took me forever to get in here this evening, but then again I had several things to get done, and a sister called, and well, here I am!  We have lovely signs of Fall.  I love all the colors in the trees.  I think New England does the best display but I am a bit biased.  It can be a major pain in the butt as traffic gets ugly to accommodate the leaf peepers.  I have a friend at work who says you have to pay dearly for every day of vacation.  It was one of those days. I had an appointment to get my car inspected at 7 this morning, that went fine, I got to work perhaps 40 minutes later than usual.  I faced a ton of email from just yesterday and had people lined up to talk to me.  I did manage to squeeze in some breakfast at one point.  It was a crazy day.  I spent all afternoon trying to accomplish something in a less than user friendly computer software, down right challenging... with high visibility.  I/we managed to pull the rabbit out of the hat.  We always do.  I was so tired.  And still had people pinging me (IM) about this and that.  I looked at my production supervisor and said I didn't want to go back upstairs.  She is a good friend.  I love her.  She said she would sneak up and grab my purse so I could sneak out the back door!  I appreciated it but braved going back upstairs.  It worked out.

I found the tomatoes and peppers and beans that my garden buddy was supposed to distribute yesterday back at my desk.  I just went home.  I do think one very large Belgium giant tomato will be my breakfast... BLT.

They never got out yesterday to do donations.  He and I went out today.  The tomatoes aren't ripening.  No sign of blossoms on my Fall planting of snow peas.  I can't figure out where the other small butternut squash got off to.  We are winding down.  I hate to admit it.  But it is what it is.  And now I probably should go get some sleep.  Hope everyone had a good day!  Night all!
