Hello from Atlanta! Sunny and warm of course!

Ha! Had another adventure to talk about yesterday. The last trip I took I had to wait in the Detroit airport for about 2 1/2 hours while they determined why a maintenance sensor came on just as we were pulling away from the terminal. Guess what happened yesterday? Yep, but this time it was at Ithaca's airport and thank goodness only took about 20-30 minutes to determine it was OK. The maintenance crew said the thing that set off the sensor was not needed. Oh THAT made me feel a lot better. NOT! But we did get to Detroit, but only after just about touching down then all of a sudden roaring back up into the sky. It was only after we were up above the earth about 20,000 feet or so that the pilot said "Well, as you can see we did not land". Funny guy. Then he explained that he had to quickly abort our landing due to a plane still on the runway we were to land on. So we had to do another complete turn around, but did finally land the 2nd time in. I always plan my trips to have plenty of time before my connecting flight for just such reasons. I even still had enough time to grab a bite to eat between flights. Flight from Detroit took off 45 minutes late, but with the way they pad the arrival times we arrived just on time.

Patti, I know you'll love your Verizon hot spot. Jim and Lisa have one now that they don't have a computer. They use it for their smartphones. I held off for quite awhile before getting a smartphone, but now I couldn't do without it. Love, love, love it!

Pam, exactly what herbs do you dry each year? Dan, I do hope you can pop in more often. We miss you!

I have met my grandpup. She is a very active puppy, full of vim and vinegar as my Mom would say. She was in the car when Jamie picked me up and I immediately had my face washed with kisses. Jamie and I both (and Cian too) love dog kisses. I didn't get a chance to have a love fest with my grandkitty until this morning but all is well now in my world. I love that cat so much!

I'll be staying in today while Jamie works. I have plenty to keep me busy on the computer. Jamie has the next three days off so we'll have plenty of time to enjoy each other's company.

Hugs to Jan and Ron. Would love to hear from Logan and Kathy too!
