Good morning!

Good to hear from you Kathy! Sounds like you have been busy, and with fun things! Can't wait to see pics of your new puppy!

Pam, I grew two plants of lemon balm for quite a few years. They grew to be really big. I never used it either so finally pulled them both up. I thought this year I would freeze pesto, but never got around to that and I think our plants have gone bitter so that won't happen again this year. smiley: ohwell We did have lot of fresh pesto though so I don't feel too bad! lol I've already brought in my rosemary and parsley plants. I'm still debating on whether to bring in the long pot that contains thyme, sage, and oregano. I might pull them up and start new ones as the current ones look a little ragged. We'll see.

Jamie's roommate has a all-white cat named Optimus, nicknamed Monkey. Jamie has been decorating the apartment for Halloween and one of the things she's done is stretch out some of the fake spider web stuff with little plastic spiders on it. Well just as I was sitting here Monkey jumped up on the counter (which he's not supposed to do!) and tried to eat one of the spiders! Boy, he was sorry he did that as that fake web stuff got in his mouth and he's still trying to get it out! Silly cat! In spite of what he just did, he is a very, very nice cat. He and Jamie's cat, Arlo, get along very well. Monkey also loves playing with grandpup, Khaya. Arlo still hasn't warmed up to the idea of a new puppy. He will play with her once in awhile, but most of the time he just glares at her.

I will be spending my time browsing the internet today, with a few breaks to walk Khaya. Hope all have a good day!
