Good evening,
Nira, sounds like you are being well amused by Jamie's pets.  Do you head home tomorrow?  Jamie sounds like a very hard worker, keeping the vet office job in addition to the aquarium.  Kathy, so good to hear from you.  You sound busy as usual.  I have several friends who have that same dilemma, have unlimited data but will lose that grandfathered plan if they upgrade at all.  A very tough decision.  That is wonderful to hear that Tanner likes puppies.

We didn't get quite as warm today as promised but was still a lovely day.  Mid 70s and bright sunshine.  No chance to get out to the garden as someone called a meeting at lunchtime... I really hate that, but what can you do?  I am guessing nothing changed much since yesterday.  I will go out before work tomorrow to pick basil for another bruschetta lunch tomorrow.  Perhaps I will make a point of getting up even earlier so I can pick beans and squash for donation also, since it is not likely we will get out there at lunchtime.  Pam, I hope the basil rolls work out well for you.  I have enjoyed them.  I have several people at work deciding to try that approach also.  This time everyone will be trying the spicier basil varieties or doing without.  Nira, I will be trying that trick with foil on the squash stems next year.  I think that is how we lost the acorn squash plant.

My plan to take this afternoon off did not pan out.  I am guessing the same will happen tomorrow afternoon.  I take it in stride.  No one tells me that I can't leave.  I just wouldn't feel comfortable walking away when there are things I should be doing.  If I had an appointment with someone, I would stick to the plan.  I can take the vacation hours at another time.  I get a ration of crap from some co-workers, but oh well.  Are they concerned that I am being taken advantage of or hoping no one expects them to be so silly?  LOL.  It appears there is still some nicer weather coming along.

I hope everyone got half way through the work week easily!
