Happy Thanksgiving WeeK everyone who celebrates it! Stay safe and warm!
It is minus 10*C here at the moment and expected to get colder still. Our roads are at extremely don't drive if you don't have to but I went to visit my friend anyway. The road was very icy and I drove slower than the posted speed much to the dismay of those following me. I think it was the vehicles in the ditch that convinced them I knew what I was doing. Passing me at a greater speed and promptly sliding into a ditch certainly got the point across. Thank goodness for cell phones as they were able to contact people to tow them our and hopefully admonish them as well for their stupidity. My friend was visiting with his nephew from British Columbia so I stayed for only a short time before returning back to the city. I expect this will be the last time he sees his nephew. I will go visit him again on Friday weather permitting.
Getting ready for weekly meal tomorrow.
Sang Christmas carols with a Seniors group last evening and they really enjoyed the comraderie.
Nothing else is new here until perhaps tomorrow. House cleaning is to commence and I am not looking forward to it. Too much to do.
Keep well, warm and safe with your families this holiday season.
