Good morning everyone! Overcast, with a chance of rain all day here in upstate New York. Temps are already in the low 40s.

Thanksgiving was good ... had 12 people joining us so had to bring down the table from upstairs on which I was doing my sewing to accommodate the extra people. Patti, we also had one pie not touched. I thought my MIL should not have made one pie (butterscotch), but that is the one that got eaten the most. Cian's pumpkin was the one not touched, go figure, but I am happy with that as that is my favorite of the ones that were made. We had another delicious meal of everything on Friday of course. I avoided any shopping on Friday, but did have to make two trips to airports that day. One to Syracuse to drop off Jamie's boyfriend, T. J., then another one to the Ithaca airport to drop off Nick. Jamie leaves today, so another trip to Syracuse is on the agenda for today. Yesterday Cian and I just rain errands, and then enjoyed the remainder of the day resting.

We ended up with about 4"-5" of snow, but the roads were cleared early on so getting out and about was no problem. We did not lose power on Thanksgiving, but did have three light bulbs that started to flicker that day and needed to be replaced. So weird that all three would go at the same time.

Dennis, I do hope you can get more help with your effort to feed the hungry. You need rest too! George, good to hear that you are finally seeing a surgeon about your pain. Hope that goes well for you. Pam, yea! You finally have everything done outside. I concur with Dennis ... don't worry about the chives. I have never covered mine and they come back every year.

Hope all have a great Sunday!
