Good evening,
Nira, it sounds like you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I am glad, after all your hard work. I hope that all your travelers get back home safely. Pam, it is not nice to wish death upon helpless chive plants. Laughing. On the other hand, a weed is a plant that is where you don't want it. I am sure that you will contend with the overgrowth of chives in the spring. Dennis, thank you for the offer to look in your seed stash for hot pepper seeds. What kind do you grow? Are you terribly fond of hot peppers. I don't like them, too hot for me, but the team likes them. I remembered that I had found a bag of seed packets when I was cleaning out the garage and just set them aside. Hmnnn.... you don't suppose? Bingo! The hot pepper seeds were in there and those summered in my garage which stays relatively cool. Unlike the other seeds that unfortunately summered in my car and no doubt got overheated, my bad!
Have others shared my same experience? If you get the seeds to germinate, you will have viable plants? Perhaps we can have some hot pepper variety after all.
We got up to 50 today and much to my surprise, we still have snow all over the place. I have my laundry done and am organized to get back to work tomorrow. I hope everyone gets their week off to a good start!
