Good morning Patti and Pam, and to all others reading this. Another beautiful morning here in upstate New York. Temps will be cooler with the high about 72°.

I'm heading into town to pick up a few items we forgot when we went to the store yesterday evening. Other than that it will be more housecleaning and laundry. It takes me a long time to clean the house as I have to stop and rest on a regular basis due to my back issues. Yesterday I did get a lot of the stuff lying around in the living/dining room put away. While I was gone my new tomato cages and their extensions arrived and those boxes were still in the house so I took them out to the garage. Also had some cardboard boxes that I wanted to save for the gardens still in the house and those also went to the garage. I put the avocado plant, and all the pineapple plants outside on the deck. These are my BIL's plants but because he doesn't have room for them at his place we still have them. I transplanted them not long ago (well Cian transplanted the avocado plant while I was in Atlanta) into bigger pots and fresh soil so they should be good to go for this year. And finally I started dusting, sweeping, and mopping small areas. That's how I do it. A little at a time. Today I'm not only going to take an allergy pill (for the dust), but also some Tylenol in the hope that I'll be able to do a little more than I did yesterday. Now, Pam, do you see why I keep asking you to come help me clean house? smiley: wink

Patti, I think it's very good of your sister and BIL to build that addition for your Mom. I'm sure it will make all the family feel comfortable knowing that Mom is being looked after on a regular basis. We never did have a 'family' home as we always rented and moved quite a few times so Mom had no problem coming to live with me. I hope your Mom realizes that this is a good thing.

Pam, I hope we get your rain and soon. We really, really need it. We got sprinkles yesterday *sigh*.

Hope all have a great day!
