Good evening,
Nira, we have lovely weather today also. We got up to upper 80s, definitely a bit warm for this time of year. Fortunately, they have the A/C on at work. Enjoy your scrapbooking weekend! The final decision on the cookbook is to do it in MS word. I think that I have the hang of the table of contents and index stuff now.
I woke up early this morning and just closed my eyes for a minute. Oops. I had intended to get to work really early this morning. I was still quite early. Another guy got there at the intended, even earlier hour, and managed the situation. So I ended up transplanting out a flat of pepper plants before I started work. I was delighted, when I got home, to see at least half a dozen large bumble bees all over my azalea. I did drive around back at work to see if they had started in on the tilling in the garden plots at work. Maybe, tomorrow.
I checked on our basil seedlings. I would have expected more for the amount of over seeding that I did, but there are still plenty. Dennis, the lettuce leaf basil grows huge leaves of basil, the size of your hand, that are somewhat crinkly looking. It has good flavor and the size of the leaves makes it excellent for making pesto, rolling up "cigars" to put in the freezer, or making bruschetta. I will get some of those transplanted out tomorrow for my Mom and my brother both of whom I will see this weekend.
I hope everyone has an excellent Friday!
