Good evening,
You ladies both sound quite productive today. We had such lovely weather today. Mid 60s (F) with bright sunshine. It was a bit breezy but not enough to be a problem. It didn't appear we got much rain overnight. Our next shot at rain is Friday into Saturday. I would prefer it rained during the week, but will take what I can get at this point. I find running errands to be tiring also. I did some grocery shopping on the way home and then got my car organized for tomorrow's garden plot adventure after work. We plan to rake out the beds and start planting some seeds. I was going to take a half a bale of well composted peat moss to use as a soil amendment. Unfortunately, although everything else is dry as a bone, it is a soaking wet mucky mess. I should dump it out on a tarp on the driveway during the next dry spell to get it manageable. I am not sure if the guys are game to figure out how to make the hardening off tent tomorrow but I have the row cover loaded up. Memorial Day is early this year. Our seedlings are still quite small. I am thinking that we should hold off another week to start the process. We could still set it up and give it a few days to see if it blows to pieces or collapses under the weight of rain, before we stick any seedlings in there.
I hope Dennis is on his way to recovery and George is doing okay, getting his gardening done. Waving hi to all who might come in later!
