Shoot...in all my excitement about mouse poison....I forgot to say good morning!image

Kathaleen, welcome to the group! That is quite a change in gardening areas, but I am sure you will just love it. It seems like in zone 7 you can grow such a wide variety of things...I am always jealous! I live in SE Minnesota, so that puts me in zone 4. I always want to order the stuff that is for zones 7 and 8, and get so disapointed when I find out what zone it is for. Oh well, such is life!image Look forward to hearing more from you!
Patti, sorry to hear about your next batch of snow. We ended up with five or six inches of the white stuff by the time all was done and said last night. Came home from running some errands, and I suggested we take Bogey for a ride in the truck...he loves riding in the truck...lol. So I took us on our usual back roads...that way I can drive super slow if Bogey wants to stick his head out the window. Gee...our dog isn't spoiled at all...lol. With the wind blowing and the snow, I knew the roads would not be the best, but if we took it easy, there should not be a problem. Normally on our nighttime tours, we do not see any other vehicles on the road, so figured I could be a road hog, and stay right in the center. Not last night...we met four vehicles. The first three, we just edged as close to the right as we could, and slowly got by each other. Kind of tough when you can not see where the shoulder or ditches start. The fourth truck was a bit of an adventure though. Of course we met as we were coming over the top of a blind hill, and the other truck is coming this way, up the hill. First thing we see was a bunch of snow drifts on our side of the road, and reaching into the other laine. Richard immediately starts cussing...image and twitching, and Bogey goes into happy dog mode..image..trying to give Richard kisses while he is cussin away...LOL! If I went left, I would have hit the truck, right, and we would have been going down a steep ditch...so the only way to go was straight ahead. So I gunned it, yelled "hold on!", and went for it. It was fun.image The drifts were all over two foot tall at least, so when I went through them it threw snow over the truck, on the hood, everywhere! I just started laughing, as it really was quite fun to go bashing through the drifts. We made it through them all, no problem, and I asked Richard if he wanted to go through them again....LOL! He just looked at me like I had grown a second head, and suggested that maybe we should head for home. ROFL! After we got home, I heard Richard talking to Bogey...."She's nuts Bogey...absolutely nuts!". Like he did not know that before...lol.

Hey GJ! How are things in your neck of the woods? I know.....warm....*sigh*
