I'm a northern Illinois gardener, zone 5. We currently have 6 inches of new snow on the ground. Spring is a long time away for me. <sigh>

Today was the next to last day of my long weekend. It was goofy today. We had a most boring 2 hours in the middle of the day, and we got slammed right as we were almost closed. That last 1/2 hour sucked the life right out of me. I'm so glad to be home now in front of a fire in the fireplace.

We got 6 inches of snow in the storm that started late Friday and continued most of yesterday. I think Pockets probably got more than me. My thoughts of spring are once again on hold. Maybe March will bring better weather and thoughts of seedlings and flowers can again dance in my head.

I have thoughts on the mouse poison, but I'm not able to expand on them. Suffice to say I lost my purebred Siamese cat to that nasty stuff, and an even nastier person who put it out for cats instead of mice.

I hope you all have a great evening!
