It thrives under the pines, Patti. Well, about 10 feet out from a trunk, but it does like it under there.

I had a purply/lavender cape given to me last year, but it must not be as hearty or hardy a plant as it did not survive the winter, boo hoo, but it was a pretty little bloom! I don't know if they might have one like that available where you are at Wingmeister, or not. The yellow can get a bit lanky and rangy as it ages, but I keep it fairly well in check with good and heavy prunings. Bounces right back the next year.

The foxgloves came from a mix, so I never know year to year what colors will be out there!
