Good afternoon!

Nancy, I am so glad you weren't injured!!!!! Finding the deer hair on the windshield wiper would have sent a chill up my spine. Nothing you can do in such situations but I know I always feel bad also....knock on wood... so far I have only hit some squirrels, a groundhog, and a bird. Just glad you are okay.

I am back from visiting my mom and my niece for their birthdays. We had a good time. I brought the birthday ladies bouquets of flowers, presents and took them to lunch. I am laughing! Alright it didn't go completely as planned! My niece had told my mom she was coming home from college friday night which would put her at their home in Suffield CT. So that was where we went to pick her up. After wondering what was taking her so long to answer the door, we called her cell phone, and said we were there, she said she would be right out. More waiting ....call her cell phone again... where are you??? Her ride fell through so she was still at college. That would have been useful to know! Actually she was walking around the campus looking for us since she figured we had gotten lost. So we told her to go back to her dorm and we would get there as soon as we could. Hmnnn... So we were 20 minutes south of Mom's house, Amanda was 30 minutes west of Mom's house and Amanda's presents were at Mom's house. Oh, bother! We ended up picking her up at 1:30. She was starving! I couldn't resist teasing her. Mandy, sweets? Yes, Aunt Patti? Didn't you think it a bit odd, when I talked to you this morning, that I suggested we have lunch at the Suffield Inn if you were at college in Westfield MA which is half way to the cottage which was our eventual destination? She said she did think it was odd that I would drive half hour to get her to drive half hour back to drive half hour back again to .... but didn't give it any more thought.... She is a beautiful, straight A student, I love her dearly, but perhaps she needs to work on her common sense skills. Mom was cleared of all suspicion she had gotten her signals crossed! image I spent much time driving yesterday!

Hope everyone has a great day!
;)
