I cut across the front garden to check on my peonies... gingerly walking amongst the plants (being barefoot helps immensely) and noticed that a clump of
plants was attempting to redefine the garden edge beating back the grass. Actually widening it on that side is a good idea. A child shall lead you? My
plants appear to! What made me laugh was it was the physostegia! Just great...my obedience plant won't even behave itself!
Next I noticed that my front lawn is grass...okay it might be weeds... why didn't my lawn person mow? and ...oh! And look at that! It also tons of
violets and white-ettes....(what I call them).... it was lovely! I was glad he didn't mow it yet (we have an unspoken agreement...he is in charge of the
lawn but don't mess with my flowers/gardens)...and yet...this week is time... or else it will need a scythe! And I had great fun sharing the state of my
lawn with lawn meisters at work. You should have seen the look on the one guys face! Fwwwowwers in the grass? If I thought that was acceptable, next I would
be telling him I think dandelions are flowers and pretty! it was too funny. And yes I do!
