Well, catching up with yesterdays' posts, I know that Nira headed out early this morning. Where is everyone else? Dan?? You and Deb snowed in? Iced in?
Here it is snowing for a change. We got maybe an inch last evening, and perhaps another inch is expected today. It is pretty and not hard to drive in, yet. I close tonight, and the snow should be all over except the melting by then. I open tomorrow, and again, nothing is expected to pile up. This has been a weird winter but so different than last winter. We haven't been below zero EVER, and after each snow there is a melting period of time, so the depth of snow has been inadequate to refresh the soil moisture OR kill insects in hibernation! If a person was wanting to start a career as a politician and preach about global warming, this year would be the best example we've had in years and years. Fortunately, I am not a politician nor a preacher, so I'll just continue to marvel about Mother Nature and her changeable ways.
Well, better get the day started here!
