Good morning! Another beautiful morning here in upstate New York. Not a cloud to be seen, and the high today is forecast to be 79°. Again, too warm for this time of year.
With the sun out I won't be outside, but have plenty of laundry to do so not a problem. Tomorrow I leave for another fun weekend at Turtle Landing. This weekend I'll be working on a quilt wall hanging for Jamie.
Dennis, I do miss Jamie. I also miss Atlanta but it's getting to be a little too warm there now so happy to be home for more than one reason. Hope your surgery goes well and you're back to normal soon! Cinco do Mayo is actually celebrated more in the US than Mexico. We Americans love anything that involves drinking and good food. lol Cinco de Mayo is a celebration of when the Mexican troops defeated the French troops at Puebla on May 5, 1862. This was totally unexpected and gave the Mexican army a morale boost. Unfortunately, the French went on to win the bid for occupation and remained in Mexico for a few years before being forced out permanently. Everyone loves when the little guy wins so we celebrate!

Pam, who would have thought that we could be allergic to dust mites? Those little buggers. I have a lot of dust in my home too from pets and an 800-foot driveway that is not paved. It's a never-ending battle here *sigh*.
Patti, what's the final decision on the cookbook?
George, hope you're feeling better today.
Have a great day everyone!
